Meeting with Rector of Klaipeda University (Lithuania) prof. Arturas Razdabauskas, prorector prof. Sonata Mačiulskyte and Head of the Social work Chair prof. Elvyra Aciene was held in November 14-17, 2023. Cooperation between the two universities and exchange of both teachers and teachers within the ERASMUS framework was discussed.
EC-EZA (“European Center for Workers’ Questions”) was held in Sofia, Bulgaria, November 9-13, 2023. Its topic was “European Social Dialogue”. European Christian Academy is partnering with EZA since 2004 and was represented by Rector prof. Skaidrīte Gūtmane and ass. prof. Guntis Dišlers. They took active part in panel discussions.
The VIII conference of Latvian supervisors and presentatioon of the book on the history of the profession in Latvia was he;ld in November 9, 2023. Editorial board and Senate of the Institute of Mental Health at Semmelweis University (Hungary) prolonged the term of being the member of the Board for rector prof. Skaidrīte Gūtmane from European Christian Academy for another 5 years term. Prof. Skaidrīte Gūtmane has been operating as member of the Editorial Board already since 2016.
Discussion in the think-tank space “Tintnīca / Inkpot” between members of the Council and social work practitioners was held in August 24, 2023.
