International social work symposium “Challenges of social inclusion: The perspective of cross-cultural social work” was held in October 5, 2017, at Kolping College of Applied Sciences, Kaunas, Lithuania. An International Scientific-Practical Conference “Challenges of Social Inclusion: the Perspective of Cross-Cultural Social Work“ will be held on the 5th of October 2017 at Kolping University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania). Rector of Latvian Christian academy prof. Skaidrīte Gūtmane has been accepted as member of the Scientific committee of the Conference.
Only 30 participants were invited to Strasbourg to celebrate 30 years of ERASMUS cooperation between European universities. Rector of Latvian Christian academy prof. Skaidrite Gūtmane was among them! Just as a reminder – in 2015 LChrA was awarded as the best HEI in Latvia in implementation of the “Intensive ERASMUS programmes”.
