Academic cooperation with Embassy of Israel in Latvia open new possibilities for both students and teachers to cooperate with universities and research centers in the Holy Land. The openness is enormous and the Academy benefits from it already 30 years. Academic experience and knowledge acquired during archeological sessions thanks to Israel Antiquities Authority, Rockefeller Museum and University of Ber-Sheba in Negev, University of Jerusalem helped to shape unique concept of Caritative social work deeply integrated in interdisciplinary approach to both human personality and epoch along with theology and anthropology. In November 6, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel Mrs. Sandra Simovich and Culture and Public Affairs attache Mrs. Marika Piņķe visited the Academy. During the meeting various aspects of further development of Caritative social work program at the Academy and obstacles in implementation were discussed, also future visits of guest lecturers from Israel were sketched out.
