In May 20, 2026, prof. George van Durtanossky met Archibshop of the Autocephal Macedonian Ortodox Church Stefan and presented precious gift – copy of the document issued by Roman Emperor Leopold I granting imperial protection to the Macedonian people after they revolted against the Ottoman (17th century). Archishop and prof. Durtanossky discussed mutual cooperation in iconography, calligraphy, scriptology and organization of joint exhibitions, and students’ involvement.
