We are approaching the end of the study year, and in May 20, 2024. the annual students’ conference at the Academy was held on “Semantics of the Church art”. Very interesting presentations – “Hierotopy and interior of the church building”, “Hierophany and hierotophy”, “Theory of perception of perspective by R.Raushenbach”, “Linear and reverse perspective”, “Proportion in ancient Egypt, Byzantine and “me””, “Comparative analysis of the icon of St. Trinity”, “Portrait in Icon and Renaissance”, “Interpretation of Biblical stories in the Western art”, “Understanding of the Holy and liturgical function of icon”. Students demonstrated their trust in classical concepts of beauty and skills to analyze Church art from different perspectives. Glory to God, and thank you, all our students and teachers!
