ACADEMIC COURSES IN ICONOGRAPHY!
The goal of courses to prepare incoming students for Bachelor or Master degree studies at the Academy.
There are two types of courses:
- Regular courses 10 AM – 5 PM,
- Summer school every year in August.
Courses in iconography are led by certified professional icon painters of the Orthodox Church. The aim of the course is to reveal spiritual reality behind the iconographic art piece and to teach skills to reveal this dimension.
Academic course on Saturdays comprises seven sessions ofgfering theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for creation of the canonical Byzantine style icon. Courses last four months and the price for the whole course is 700 EUR.
The first group for the study year 2025/26 will start in September 20 and subsequantly in October 4 and 18, November 8 and 22, December 6 and 27.
At the end of thew course attendants will be awarded with Certificate authorized by ECA and “Golden Label” by High Council for Higher Education and Research HCERES (France).
SUMMER SCHOOL IN ICONOGRAPHY IS SCHEDULED IN AUGUST 18-24!
Annual Summer School in Iconography will be open in August 18-24, 2025 for those who havce signed the Agreement with ECA and transferred tuition fee 300 EUR. The sume must be paid before August 15 (the Bank account is available at the webpage of the Academy, section “Contacts”.
The course offers basics of theory and practice of canonical icon painting. Individsual approach to every attendand is guaranteed.
Courses are led by professional certified iconographers.
Amount of credit points – 3 ECTS.
