Graduation ceremony

„We were taught to think. Here at the Academy we felt accepted. We received the necessary support to find the truth and success in the modern complicated world,” with those words graduates of the Latvian Christian Academy thanked to their Alma Mater which opened the way to recognition of the truth and to stay free and calm even in those difficult years of crisis during four years of studies. Among graduates there were young Icon painters whose icons were evaluated as „excellent”; future specialists in healing of various crisis in society – caritative social workers, and specialists in the public relations management. The graduation ceremony was blessed by HE Bishop of Latvian Orthodox Church Alexander who forwarded sincere greetings from HE Metropolitan of the Latvian Orthodox Church Alexander. Rector of the Latvian Christian Academy Skaidrîte Gûtmane thanked him for good cooperation between the Church and the Academy and emphasized that professional success is secured by proper understanding of God’s blessings and role of the Church in professional application. She spoke about European society as based on knowledge and highly professional work. Graduates were addressed by the Chairman of the Senate of the Academy E.Butkevičs, specialist of public relations Vita Savicka, young artist Annija Sauka un assistant prof. Guntis Dišlers.
