There will be a short Orientation programme before start of the academic year. You are strongly advised to attend this programme, which provides important information and is an excellent introduction to the Academy and to Jūrmala and Riga. During the classes you will meet other students and have contact with the relevant subject coordinators, academic adviser, and staff from International Studies department and Student Council; receive the timetable for your study program; have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the study process at the Academy; receive information about immigration procedures; receive information about compass for living in Latvia – security issues, medical issues, money, public transport, entertainment, shopping, etc.
Upon arrival in Jūrmala you will be able to use our computing facilities and internet access. However, until you have fully registered and obtained your student card, you will not have access to the library and information centre facilities.
Classes start on September 4, 2023. There is a two week add/drop period in which to change your enrolment.
