Two books by Latvian Christian Academy were presented in December 8, 2009: „Proceedings of Latvian Christian Academy, Vol. 2” and Project presentation album „Intercultural Dialogue: National Elements of the European National Art”. Both books were made possible due to financial support of the EC and they mark the end of respective projects. Various aspects of European Social Development are analyzed in the „Proceedings”, but the Presentation album covers theoretical aspects of Christian art in Latvia, Romania and Sweden. Among invited guests of the presentation were the head of the Higher Education Programmes department at the Academic Programme Agency in Latvia Mrs. Dz. Prikule, the programme director Mrs. A.Jakoviča, authors prof. J.N.Vējš, A.Berdņikovs, Dr. I.Hiršs-Iršs, as well as Icon painter G.Mironov (Moscow), Graphic artist N.Zirnīte, painter S.Jākobsone, journalists. Greetings from the Metroplitan of Latvian Orthodox Church were brought by priest Jānis Sičevskis.
